Looks good. Had my first shower this morning and it seemed to work well. The furnace is also placed in the area it will be so you can see the amount of room we'll gain from just shifting its position slightly. They didn't get far with ductwork yesterday because the duct guy cut himself pretty good with his utility knife and had to go to the hospital for stitches. They'll probably finish on Friday.
The contractor came by yesterday to check on our progress on the kitchen demo and we agreed to have him start on Monday. Daniel was feeling well enough to come back yesterday afternoon so we should make some progress today. Darcy is feeling a little better too. She actually got up yesterday and helped out a little.
The contractor thinks he can get the structural work done next week and get the plumber and electrician in here the following week. He thought it MIGHT be done by the end of May. We'll keep our fingers crossed. We just found out yesterday that we need to get a permit for the structural changes. Maybe we can get that done today.
